Unexpected doctor visit...

It's official. My dad's doctor (and mine I guess), the receptionist, and the other doctor are the best. I was in Toronto today, for a meeting with my dad and a client of his. Turns out my dad had a doc's appointment before.

So we go, and I'm just sitting in the waiting room. The receptionist is nice, ask me how everything is, etc. Doctor comes out after seeing my pops and says he wants to chat with me for a bit. So I go in and he asks how i'm doing, if I have any questions/concerns and said I should get a flu shot. Since my immune system is weaker then a normal persons. So, I got one. Anyway, point is I did have a few questions. About calcium and steriods, stuff like that. We were both impressed. Not many doctors would do that. I didn't have an appointment, he didn't know I'd be there.

Sister made me do it...

Had a conversation with my sister that went something like this:

Sister: Update your medical blog.
Me: Why? Nothing has changed. I'm still doing ok.
Sister: Because you haven't in like a month.
Me: Yea... but... nothing's changed.
Sister: So?! Blog that then! People might think your dead!!
Me: hahaha no one thinks I'm dead.
Sister: Just update your blog.
Me: Ok.

I'm still alive! *waves* I'm still doing well!

Oh! I just remembered one weird thing... I seriously think my brain swells a little sometimes. HAHAHA! That's a set up for soooo many jokes. Anyway, seriously. I do. I think that's the cause of the googly eyes, headaches, etc. So on the note of brain swellage... sometimes my left shoulder blade area goes half numb. It goes all tingly and feels pretty cool actually. I guess it's not something I should be enjoying though. Not sure brain swellage can be blamed though. Last round of blood tests showed zero inflammation. And its been a bit of time since googly eyes happened and even when it did it was for like 4 seconds rather then the 30-90 seconds it was.

Other then tingle shoulder, I'm almost perfect. Knee's get sore once in awhile. No biggie. Oh and I have another ear infection. Which I have so frequently I just stopped talking about them unless they really bug me. I found a good website though, for home remedies. Which I'd prefer, since antibiotics are pretty much out of the question because of the drugs I'm on. So off to the drug store tomorrow for supplies and hopefully I can fix my ears myself!

There, Sister... I blogged ;)
