Kidney's, Brain's, and Immune Systems!

So on the way home (about an hour drive) from the Kidney doctor I said to boy, "Ya know, from now on I'm just going to walk into a doctors office thinking, "They're gonna tell me I'm dying" so they can tell me things like the following and I'll be like "wohooooo, I'm not dying. It'll be great I coule hear some pretty bad news and be happy about it!

In a nutshell here's what we've learned:,

Neurologist: (paraphrasing) 'the MRI showed some abnormalties of your brain, we're sending you to another neurologist' (who turns out to be an authority on MS in Toronto, still waiting on news from the latest tests)

Kindey Doc: (post-biopsy and again paraphrasing) '2 things...you have a lupus related disfunction of the cells in your kidney, which will cause damage, so we have to watch you closer.' Basically the lupus is creating cells in my Kidney's that'll eventually get stuck in the filters of the Kidneys. Blocking them.

'Second, you kidneys are swollen and we think it's a reaction to you're to drugs. We're taking you off them and putting you on Steriods.' (Prednisone)

So that's the plan folks.
